Irene Petredis, had a touching story of her and her husband's, William C. Petredis
( 1924-2007) last Valentine's Day together published in the Pittsburgh-area
newspaper on February 12, 2010, entitled "Storytelling: With aid of angels, couple could share last Valentine's
Day". Irene's story, to be sure, describes the strong love and devotion between a husband and wife of many
years. But it is also a deep expression of her gratitude for the caring, compassion and loving-kindness of her
friends and neighbors, and the staff and care-givers at UPMC St. Margaret and Longwood at Oakmont, who helped
to make this special day possible for Bill and Irene. We thank Irene for sharing their beautiful story,
Tale of Love on Valentine's Day. May it inspire us likewise, both to
love and to be the "angels" that make others' dreams happen.
